We use Restaurant Style Italian Dressing to make this Slow Cooker Pasta with Wild Turkey Breast! It’s a creamy pasta dish that has so much flavor and compliments wild turkey! Keeping wild turkey from drying out can be difficult, but this slow cooker recipe keeps it nice and moist!
You will need:
2-3 pounds of wild turkey breast (no bones)
16 oz. Restaurant Style Italian dressing
1 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. black pepper
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. pasta cooked according to package directions and drain well. You can use any pasta. We chose rotini, but penne also works well!
Directions:
Add the turkey breasts to the slow cooker.
Pour over the Restaurant Style Italian dressing and sprinkle over the pepper and half of the parmesan cheese.
Place the cream cheese on top.
Place the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or LOW for 5-6 hours.
When the cooking time is almost done, start cooking the pasta on the stove top as directed on the package.
Shred the turkey with 2 forks.
Drain the pasta and add to the turkey and sauce.
Stir. Sprinkle over the remaining parmesan cheese.
Optional: I also garnished with a touch of parsley, oregano leaf, and black pepper.
Enjoy!
